WESTFIELD COMMUNITY PLAYERS (WCP), founded in 1934, has brought more than 300 comedies, dramas, musicals and mysteries to life on our stage. All productions are presented in our own 150 seat theater on the corner of Edgewood Avenue and North Avenue West in Westfield .

With our productions, we continue to be part of the active cultural scene in Westfield and surrounding communities.

WCP is committed to offering hands-on participation for those wishing to learn more about various aspects of live theatrical production and performance while providing a varied theater experience to a broad audience. We do that by actively seeking volunteers to keep our theater functioning, and by maintaining an open-casting policy where everyone can audition for all of our scheduled plays.

The key to our success and longevity is the hard work and dedication of our numerous volunteer members. To join them and learn about theater arts and the business side of running a non-profit organization, please fill out the interest sheet

For audition notices, those who have subscribed with their email will receive early notification of dates from our newsletter. Or, you can watch for press releases in the Sunday Star Ledger, Westfield Leader and other area newspapers. We also post audition notices on our website.

Three dramas and a comedy will be presented this season. With scheduled performances spanning three or four weekends, it's easy to enjoy a local night out of live entertainment at our conveniently located theater.

Join now, so you won't miss any of the laughs, pathos, drama and excitement of live theater planned for our upcoming season at WESTFIELD COMMUNITY PLAYERS. Call the box office at (908) 232-1221 for membership and performance details.
